Características: de porte intermedio entre los progenitores, tallo delgado, rastrero corto, ramificado, con ramas erectas densamente frondosas (pero menos densas que en M. polyphylla subsp.polyphylla). Hojas cortas, espatuladas, redondeadas en el ápice, muy brevemente subpecioladas en la base, escasamente papilosas, verdes, ni rojizas ni grisáceas como en polyphylla. Inflorescencias como en M. polyphylla subsp.polyphylla, cortas, desde el centro de las rosetas, irregularmente ramificadas, de 5 a 10 flores, pedicelos largos. Flores intermedias.
Hábitat y localización: entre los parentales, acantilados sobre La Galeta, más allá de Garachico.

Floración: Los tiempos de floración de las especies parentales son diferentes: M. pallens: abril-junio, M. polyphylla: junio, por lo que los híbridos serán bastante raros; además, Praeger informa de la presencia de M. laxiflora y M. subcrassicaulis creciendo en las proximidades.

Características: de porte intermedio entre los progenitores, . Tallo corto, menos rastrero y menos ramificado que en M. polyphylla subsp.polyphylla, pero no tan corto y erecto como en M. pallens; rosetas que se ajustan a las de M. pallens, pero más pequeñas, más planas y agregadas, glaucas.
Hábitat y localización: entre los parentales, en las proximidades de Casa Blanca, Buenavista.

Hojas elíptico-oblanceoladas, papilosas en el ápice, las basales grandes como en M. laxiflora y las superiores menos imbricadas que en M. polyphylla subsp. polyphylla. Inflorescencias que salen del centro de la roseta, con pelos más largos que el diámetro de los pedúnculos, con flores glandular-pubescentes; carpelos glabros.
Hábitat y localización: piso termocanario, cerca de Teno Bajo, Los Carrizales, Masca, sobre Buenavista, Casa Blanca.

Rosa dumalis Bechstein subsp. teydensis Weller & Reichert

Distribución: Tenerife
Características: arbusto, de hasta 5 m de altura, tallos con espinas (acúleos) curvados. Hojas 5-7 partidas, coriáceas, de color azul-verdoso por el haz y gris verdoso en el envés, foliolos algo peciolados y superpuestos, ovados, con márgenes crenado-aserrados. Estípulas en las partes superiores de las ramas florales, agudas, con márgenes glandulares. Flores rosadas de unos 30 mm de Ø, pétalos obovados, emarginados; sépalos glandulares a lo largo de los márgenes, tomentoso-vilosos por dentro. Frutos pomáceos, también llamados "tapaculos", son carnosos, de color rojo a marrón-oscuro.
Hábitat y localización: en Las Cañadas del Teide, solitarias o en grupos pequeños, en laderas a semi-umbría, en grietas y fisuras, sobre suelos arenosos pumíticos, entre 2050-2400 m. de altitud.
